The Western New York Waterfall Survey is an ongoing search for waterfalls found in the western half of New York State. Information on the location of additional waterfalls is always welcomed. To qualify for the survey a waterfall must meet the following requirements:

1. The waterfall must have a vertical drop of at least five (5) feet.

2. The stream should flow throughout the year.

Dig The Falls and the Western New York Waterfall Survey have been collaborating on a list of waterfalls found in New York State. The list is on the Dig The Falls web site under Location Details. To view the list you must join the DTF Community. Registration for the DTF Community is quick, easy, and free!
